The Department of English Studies at the University of Cyprus (UCY) offers the undergraduate degree programme BA in English Language and Literature. It also offers English as a minor to students from other departments at UCY.

On the postgraduate level, the Department of English Studies offers:

• an MA in Applied Linguistics,
• an MA in Comparative Cultural Studies,
• an MA in Conference Interpreting, and
• an MA in Translation Studies as well as
• a PhD in Linguistics and a PhD in English Literature
  (in the areas of expertise of our supervising faculty members).

The Department of English Studies has strong links with foreign universities and international institutions to promote research, collaboration, and exchange of faculty and students (SOCRATES/ERASMUS).
